GRP Systems

Iplex was the first to introduce Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) pipes to the Australian water and sewer pipeline market in 1987. Now partnering with Future Pipe Industries, Iplex supplies GRP pipe and fittings as well as GRP jacking pipes nationally. GRP offers exceptional durability, strength, and resistance to corrosion.

The engineered design of Future Pipe Industries GRP Pipes incorporates high-quality glass fibers and resins, making them ideal for challenging environments. They offer a smooth internal surface for efficient flow and reduced maintenance costs, high hoop strength for pressure mains and high stiffness for structural performance.

Product sub-systems

GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) Pipes are recognised for their exceptional strength, durability, and performance, ideal for water, sewer, and drainage applications. These pipes are manufactured from a blend of glass fibres, polyester resins, and fillers, providing resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and high-pressure environments. The advanced manufacturing process ensures a consistent, high-quality product with a smooth internal surface that optimises flow efficiency.

GRP Pipes are lightweight compared to other conventional materials, such as clay and plastic lined concrete, facilitating easier installation and reducing transportation costs.
